I feel that this would be a useful product, since the main times that I would actually buy a bottle of water is if I am playing sport, or am unusually dehydrated from the hot weather - which are both times that I would like to be cooled down.
The concept was inspired by origami, and I experimented with shapes and folds by looking at some online tutorials.
After playing around with paper sections and sticking parts together with tape, I developed the form for the final product.
I made a plastic mock-up to test the form and functionality, finding that the idea worked.
I also reverse engineered an H2O 'pop top' bottle to understand how the nozzle worked. These findings were applied to design of the spinning top, which was developed to reduce the effort required by the user to cool themselves with air.
